The Art4Well-being partnership builds on the successful collaboration of the KA1 Youth project Inclusion through Art (2023-3-IT03-KA153-YOU-000183176), coordinated by Bubburriga (Italy). In that project, the three partner organisations—Stichting Artmonia (Netherlands), ESİGED (Türkiye), and Bubburriga (Italy)—explored art-based methods and creative expression as tools for supporting youth mental well-being. This experience clearly demonstrated that non-formal, low-cost, and creative approaches could help young people manage stress, improve emotional resilience, and express themselves freely.
Motivated by these positive results, the partners decided to continue their cooperation in a more structured and sustainable way through this KA210 Small-Scale Partnership, aiming to strengthen youth workers’ capacities, reach marginalized youth, and create long-term impact at the European level. Importantly, all three organisations are Erasmus+ newcomers. This project therefore serves not only to develop innovative methods but also to build the institutional capacity of each partner for future international collaboration.
Each organisation brings unique strengths and expertise to the partnership:
• Stichting Artmonia (Netherlands) has a strong background in creative arts, expressive methods, and youth engagement. Its team has worked with diverse groups of young people, developing art-based well-being activities and facilitating inclusive educational environments.
• ESİGED (Türkiye) is known for its youth training experience, stakeholder engagement, and outreach capacity. With close ties to schools, public institutions, and local policymakers, ESİGED provides strong links between youth work practices and community networks.
• Bubburriga (Italy) contributes extensive knowledge in non-formal education, movement-based activities, and social inclusion. Its team has collaborated with municipalities, schools, and community centres, combining methodological expertise with practical experience in youth work innovation.
Together, these organisations form a balanced and multidisciplinary partnership, combining creative methodologies, youth engagement expertise, and community connections to ensure the project’s success and long-term sustainability.
